چکیده
Abstract This study assessed the quality of water in Shatt Al-Hillah River by adopting some variables physical, chemical, and heavy metal elements. The samples have been taken at six sites along river 2020 (from January to December). index has determined using weighted-arithmetic method which is including a series equations. Also, model Inverse-Distance-Weighting Geographic information system was applied create map area. Eleven physicochemical five elements metals were comprised calcium, magnesium, dissolved oxygen, Hydrogen Ions, chloride, sulfate, total hardness, solids, turbidity, alkalinity, electric conductivity, cadmium, copper, iron, lead, zinc. results showed values ranged from 245 253 (with category 200–300). rated as very poor for selected locations River. GIS result illustrated distributing household uses. combination calculations with current might be used guide future studies.

Assessment of water quality in Blinaja River Basin (Kosovo) using the Canadian Water Quality Index (WQI)
Kosovo has limited natural water resources which should be well managed. This is recently realised through quantitative and qualitative monitoring of both surface and groundwater and by characterizing their quality according to their destination. In this paper, the Water Quality Index (WQI) developed by the Canadian Council of Environment Ministers (CCME WQI) was applied to evaluate the groundw...
متن کاملSurvey of water quality in Moradbeik river basis on WQI index by GIS
Background: Survey of pollution and evaluation of water quality in rivers with Oregon Water Quality Index (OWQI) and GIS are effective tools for management of the impact of environmental water resources. The information in calculating the WQI of Moradbeik river allowed us to take our tests results and make a scientific conclusion about the quality of water. GIS can be a powerful tool for develo...

متن کاملWater Quality Pollution Indices to Assess the Heavy Metal Contamination, Case Study: Groundwater Resources of Asadabad Plain In 2012
Background & Aims of the Study: Due to the increasing pollution of water resources, tow documented methods: the Heavy metal potential index (HPI) and the Heavy metal evaluation index (HEI) were evaluated for their suitability for contamination monitoring of heavy metals (As, Zn, Pb, Cd and Cu) contamination in groundwater resources of Asadabad Plain during spring and summer in 2012. Material...
